Today's Tutorial and Tasks

1100 Meet Emma and Janice at Waterloo station with our printed layouts

1130-1200 Tutorial with Joe and Jimmy. Discuss what we've done, where we're going and if we're on schedule.
-Good feedback, they seem to like our ideas and the integrated metaphors that we have.
-We showed our layouts and demonstrated how the leaflet will work.
-We have been encouraged to take our work to the extremes and push the boundaries. Our work has to very clear and our methods evident, to ensure that people understand what we're doing.
-We need to write a new manifesto.
-We also need to make clear who our Target Audience is.

1200-1230 Private Jae Birds meeting to discuss the week ahead, plan what we are doing when and to compare ideas. Ultimately we are on track time and production wise. We are all enjoying the experimental aspects of the project and are all relaxed and happy with the work.

1330-1600 Back to University to clean and prepare our Screen Printing screens, to be coated tonight/tomorrow morning and ready for printing on Tuesday (after our VCT commitments).
We also spent a few minutes in the college shop looking for suitable papers. We think we have chosen a thick tracing paper that suits our purpose. We will buy a collection of different papers to experiment with in the print room.

PLAN FOR THE WEEK

Tuesday: Begin and (attempt to) finish our screenprints.
Wednesday: Analyse our completed screen prints and decide which individual 'bits' we like enough form eveyone's designs to place in our one final collaborative design.
Thursday: Sit together in front of a Mac and amalgamate all of our work into the final digital design.
Friday: Emergency catching up if required.
