Don't you just love all the bird jokes.
This is probably the only piece of work that we have done individually. This is my personal reflection on this project and our Jae Bird collaboration. I have honestly loved this project. I wont lie and say that I wasn't apprehensive about it at first but I wanted to try something that was out of my comfort zone, which this was and it was great. I enjoyed not knowing what was going on at the beginning and all the meeting points at pubs and galleries, it opened me up to other experiences.
Working in a group was interesting. We generally work well with each other, I know it's what everyone says but I mean it. We met up a couple of times a week and we threw lots of ideas in the pot and got rid of the silly ones and worked on the ones we wanted and felt we could run with. At the beginning we all had our own ideas and we went off and worked on them and then came back and collaborated to see what we could do to further them.
This blog has been great. It's been a good way to keep in touch and see how our progress has gone. I love the fact that every time I have gone on something has changed or has been posted. It exciting as well as interesting. We have been able to influence each other when we aren't together and when we are. Even till the last part of this project have we been collaborating as a group.
Like our name we have many layers and I feel that that is what has mad us work, rather than try to create a brand new person out of all of us we have seen that we each have our talents and luckily they were all different and all the parts that you need to make a good team. That has been our focus all through this journey to use our layers. Our group name is made up of us, the final piece is layers of us and our whole experience has been finding out new layers of ourselves and each others.
Right that is me done with the sharing. Its been a great project and a great team now Im gonna jump and hope I start flapping.
